blue swede - Hooked on a feeling

Ouga Chaka ouga! ....

I can't stop this feeling
Deep inside of me.
Girl, you just don't realize
What you do to me.
When you hold me
In your arms so tight,
You let me know,
Everythings alright, ahahah

I'm hooked on a feeling,
I'm high on believing,
That your in love with me.

Lips as sweet as candy.
Their taste stays on my mind.
Girl, you keep me thirsty for another cup of wine.

I got it bad for you girl,
But I don't need a cure,
I'll just stay addicted, If I can endure
All the good love, when we're all alone
Keep it up girl, yeah you turn me on.
...

sweet song
Today we though of trying out the pool table int he apartment recreation room...we found that they haven't given the keys to us!! :(
Atleast i can use the gym. Go there to sweat it out sometimes.

Also tried dinner at India-Palace one more time. The first time was an incident to remember. It is a legend. All of us who were there oni that day suggest India-Palace to those who comem to SA for the first time!...so they appreciate the other good things in life ;)
Tonight the dinner was okay. I guess served dinner is mostly better than buffet...

I want to be busy. I want to be so busy, i don't find time to think about things that trouble me.
I want to be busy, and do myslef some good.

then what?!

So the problem is that my clients don't know what they want from the project. The reason they don't know is two faced. Firstly, my project's Client Program Manager cannot get the business stake holders to a conclusion about what they want. Secondly, the requirement being captured are allegedly swaying away from the original business vision.
Not that it matters that the business vision came into being not too long ago. And we are probably the first scape goats ;)

We depend on other projects to make the integrated system work as such. Others also depend on us. But they are somewhat uninterested in discussing and conclusively freezing the interface agreements.

There is a lack of resources, and a Infy guy is allocated to the client to help gather Use Case Requirements, which in turn are elaborated as part of requirements gathering by Infy resources (your truly included).

Infy is doing evaluation of Content Management Tool (i hear they drastically improve and sanctify processes...although at a good cost), for a business that has required and used it for like 10 years. Infy, as far as i know might have just got their hands wet now!
Same is the case of Item Authoring tool (evaluated by me). I believe Infy has not even stepped near the sink for this ;)

neways, life goes on.
I hear, BLR2 is getting more and more projects because of the quality of resources is better and we have proved ourselves with many high risk, time constrained and techie projects.
Good to hear that.
Fear the future though!

let's see where this goes.
maybe i'll be out of this one before it closes out on all of us.

upgrade yourself

Some don't know what they want in life, no question of how to ask for it.

Some don't know what they want in life, but ask for things. Face a lot of failures. Sooner or later you get there...Because you settle for what you have.

Some know what they want in life, but do not know how to ask for it. A lot of missed opportunities. May or may not get there at all.

Some know what they want in life, and know exactly how to get it. Success in many respects.

phirse kaam

I have been a little aggressive at work since the last few days.
There's a lot of work and have been keeping pretty busy. So much for finding time to prepare for the XML exam!

Have a new Gieco policy now. old one cancelled...over...

:(

can't stop thinking...

Hazaron Khwahishen Aisi

Overall a nice movie. The director has not given any overly ambitious scenes in the movie. Just plain truth. Sometime scary truth...

I love that scene when Vikram is about to be killed by cops in Bihar...it is very well directed and gives you the feel - what would you do?? you would be helpless too...! Scares the hell out of me.

1975 Bihar. It was inhuman how people were treated. Am afraid the truth won't be too far even today.

barely tolerable

over the years...i've become barely tolerable to double standards and of any level of pettiness in money matters...
And when they come together...whoa!

like you just wanna get rid of those things. erase out from the memory!
but they come back and haunt you...in one way or another. How long do you forgive and forget? I'm sorry...i am not even fully human ;) let alone close to God!

everyday!

Everyday, day after day i am beginning to discover more about the net. Anything sells here.

It's a huge business case study in it's own. You just gotta surf the right pages and have a little business bent of the mind. You will watch what the world is doing to you, the consumers, of the web!

Thought i'd post a couple of links -

helyo

How do you do that? How to make one's blog more interesting?

Is your life not as interesting as others. They have great blogs. So many wierd yet exciting things happen in their lives. Maybe they are only good at story telling.
Or maybe your blog is interesting...but you just don't realise it.

I've come across so many interesting blogs. So many interesting people out there :p

There was this housewife blog, by a, yep!, housewife!, who passed time by filling her blog. She had a opinion about everything!
There was this recent blog about someone posting as Aishwarya Rai. Lol!
Sethi Sahib is an interesting blog. He is one story telling master!

There are blogs where people post their opinions. How they feel about the world around them
There are blogs where people post their experiences with a lot of masala and twists!
There are blogs that people use to tracks their own life
There are blogs dedicated to something important to the author.

I won't compare my position. you do that. I will just go on blogging.

progress!

A little progress on the self improvement front...
Have taken a data for the XML Master's Basic Certification exam. Have given me a month to prepare. I think it should be sufficient...with all that is going on in office.

You know what, i realised that the better my time is planned the more i'm focused and able to concentrate better. In this run, i'm hoping to concentrate better in office and study xml after office.

check this out! Aishwarya Rai this is funneeee!

amazing concept

This website was created by a student in UK, who wanted to raise money to complete his education.
He created a website and put a blank image - 1000pixels by 1000pixels in dimension. He put a price of $1 per pixel and invited people to buy pixels from him.
He wanted to earn 1000*1000 = a million USD.

here's how he fared - the million dollar home page

It's just amazing!

LOL - Infosys Support

you have to read this -

me:
Hi, I am unable to access the AHD application on xnet. It repeatedly asks my user-id/password but does not open the application. Other applications on xnet are accessible using my id/password.

Here's a panaromic view of the SFO downtown. Had i come across this idea before, i would have taken panaromic views of lot more things!
