just like the past few days...there was fog on the windshield this morning. i ran the wipers to take it off...but it wouldn't...it was Frozen Fog!!

the story goes...
24th night, i came back from office. Studied a bit. Couldn't study...Akshia called...spoke to him for a long time :) Together we decided that i will postpone my gmat date.
Nothing was happening...roomies asked me for a movie. I din't feel like. perhaps i was still in the study study study mode...and i was also afraid that this birthday will not be a special day at all...
It was 10:30 in the night and we were still to have dinner! man i was hungry! we went out...had something to eat. Stopped by walmart to buy stuff. It was almost 12. I wanted to reach home...just be comfy when mom and dad and akshia call up...and possibly somebody decides to give me the birthday bumps then i gotta be home shouldn't i! Reached exactly at 12. mom, dad and akshia called up dot on time. i entered the home while talking to them...
SURPRISE!
it was Neha, Arjav, Utkal. They had decorated the home...the cake in the middle of the room...shining light in the night. They along with my roomies had planned the plot. No wonder my roomies were trying to get me out of the house all evening! (am glad i went out eventually!)
Cake was yummy...mere poore face ne khaya...phir i got the birthday bumps...youch! the video for the whole episode could not be uploaded...i will try to do that sometime and let the whole world watch the attrocity over me :p
They made me feel special.
ummm...don't remember any surprise callers.
Deepika called and woke me up 9am :)...never mind, hope she does that more often. she is a pal. sunil mama, mami, avinash mama, nishi mausi, himasnhu, pulkit, few others from office, vasant called. got a surprise mail from himanshu pandey...
We had lunch out. visited the airforce museum. dinner out. went out looking for a disc (discovered dayton discs are closed on sundays...!), went to a sports bar and played pool. home pe gappe maare...slept 3:30-4.

changing seasons
morning fog. afternoon sun. evening breeze. the weather is so nice. it is changing...
i know in the next few months i would be changing a lot of things around me.
i know i started a change today. unfortunately not a one that i wanted...bad things happen...especially when not everyone is willing to avoid them.
there is no sun. there is no rain. there is a cool breeze. i want to go for a walk.

busy dayz
have been keeping quite busy since coming from Vegas. Haven't slept well for a while. And this weekend's not expected to be any good either!
But the good thing is that my time has not been wasted :)
Have taken a date for the GMAT. It's a pretty optimistic date! Have given myself a month's time to prepare and go for it.
This fine day i woke up and thought that time is moving too fast...infact it's overtaking me. Now i can't let that happen can i?! (btw everytime time does this to me, things get ruffled up and i find somemthing to do to make it all worthwhile. Am good at dat, aint i!) So i took a date for GMAT and decided that i'm gonna give it my best shot to be prepared. Ofcourse if i don't think i'll be able to make it, i'll postpone it...but not by much!
Right now, i'm in the books...strictly theory...have to start giving mock tests...no later than sometime next week. Need to mentally prepare myself. Now thats another good thing about me...i know how to motivate myself most of the times :)
Other than GMAT i've been working on multitudes of other stuff!
1. Volleyball leagues. and am the captain for my team :) We are way ahead of everyone in the points table!
2. cricket leagues. have got it started now. not sure if i'll be able to play in the matches as i would need that time for somthing else!
3. have this TNS All Hands meet party organized this weekend. (this took most of my office hours this week). Yipppeee! I'm gonna officially be awarded a momento for the TnS Best SE 04-05.
4. Have to start working on the Infosys Geocluster Ohio Region sports meet scheduled 10/1.
5. And ofcourse there is regular office work...release 5 of the darn Rosetta!
wow! he he!
got a credit card with a good limit. blew up a lot of money in Vegas. and Now in debt of USD 900 :) that's life!

am afraid to sleep
I am afraid to go to sleep tonight.
I am afraid because i know that when i wake up it will be a new day...but it will be the same ol' office. The same ol' people in office. I need a break. Need to see new people.
