finally we had a project party! And this time it just took a couple of hours of organizing. If you have the money you don't need nething else to arrange for such things!
We had a good time. There were two pool tables given to us. People were playing all through the night! We got gaming card worth 60points to use on those virtual reality games. Each game costed about 2-10 points; we had reasonable options! I did some water skis, some biking, basketball, hitting the hammer...this coin game that i tried was like the ones in the casinos. It was boring but the returns were exciting! We earned more coupons than any other game. In all we collected about 400 points! Got those points exchanged for fun stuff - got a mini basketball game and net. It's cute. Will put it at my workplace. And two yo yos - for me and my partner.
Since i was the organizer...i had to pay the bill for the party. I knew i was expecting a big amount, but in any case 1400bucks was quite a shock at that time! Donno when i'll get it all back.? a couple of months maybe...I donno what others might think but i feel this to be obvious responsibility of the man incharge of the entire team to take up this responsibility.
I feel sorry for the guys who missed out on the party becuase of the short, very short notice! All i can do is feel sorry. was not in my hands. They just come to me on friday evening and tell me if i can still arrange for a party on saturday evening. I won't say 'no' because it could be done..! and becuase if it is not done on saturday...then we'd miss out the entire booty for this quarter!
Me went for bowling after the party. Got two good scores - 177 and 169. Cool na?
