Can't see why an endorsement by Ashton Kutcher would be so important.
By the way, if you read the fine print on the Ooma web site, it says that "for life" is only gauranteed for 3 years, After that, it's likely to cost you.
I really think they mean "for the life of Ooma", which might be less than 3 years.
You should also be aware of the security and privacy issues with the way that they provide service (using an unknown person's phone line to make calls from other unknown persons). Would you let unknown persons use your phone line today?

About the 'unknown person phone line thingy' - i think you need to get a book on VOIP, DSL and particularly how Ooma works. Don't just believe or spread rumors which you don't understand or can't prove.
