The Island
So much for the media hype!
There's not much in the movie. It's an o.k. movie. Although the plot of the movie is somewhat interesting...'my insurance is sitting on my sofa'! 'My insurance wants to kill me'! ha ha! now that's funny. And in this chase scene with the super bikes, i am sure they stole the sound effects from the star trek when the kid luke skywalker is racing in his self made pod...
am reading 'i moved your chesse'. it's a sweet little book. Mr Darrel Bovey has shared his life's weird experiences. The bonus that the reader gets is the learnings from those stories.

Fantastic Four - the movie
like so many recent movies these days they just finish off with the villain pretty fast. There's no more the good ol' villain who used to do the phoenix. and the audiences were thrilled, frustrated and enterntained! weren't you?
Overall it was a nice movie. the comedy put some life in the movie otherwise it would have been just another romantic superhero movie!

management at home?
its cool. its confusing. its basically new to me.
am in the stage of my career when i am being given opportunities to do something more at work. to take a higher role, handle more responsibility. ya, they've been promising that for like months now...and now it seems its finally arrived. am getting inn the groove. spending time on emails and on telephone telling people what to do. asking them to do things my way so i have control over fulfillment of my responsibility. afterall the one that is delegated only needs to accept the job and not decide how to do it...atleast not at all levels!
today i realised that i am carrying some of them *managerial* traits to home! twice in the day i asked my roomie, who is incidently my junior in the project, to do some stuff for me at home. the thrid time i did that i quickly realised that he was only doing me a favour...while i was still living the mode of delegation! bad! i gotta learn to keep things separate. at office i gotta do my job and 'give' work as necessary. at home and everywhere else, i am on my own. nobody is doing nothing for me :~)

my flat mate has left for blore. i have a watch, a usb drive and a gold ring for delhi...yippee!
DB has shifted. took 3 days of hardwork for the two of us. she shifted to hidden lakes. that place where all the married folks of my project live! most of the spinsters are here in spring valley. the stack is popping down...
